Anderson Knight are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our growing business, providing support on our ongoing schemes.

Our client operates in the utility infrastructure sector. They design and install electricity, gas and water infrastructure for new industrial and commercial developments nationwide. They also adopt electricity networks, ensuring energy supplies for end users.

Their business has grown rapidly over the past 12 months, and their plans for the next five years are ambitious. Their people will get us there because they work as team. They put our customers first, communicate, innovate, work hard and deliver.

Needless to say, our Quantity Surveying team is looking for a new team member as we continue to grow.We just need the right people on board, working with us to achieve our goals.

The successful applicant will:

* Carry out weekly visits where required to Major Project sites

* Carry out audits / safety walks as appropriate

* Ensure Project Managers and Site Managers adhere to Matrix methods of practice

* Assist Project Managers to anticipate and avoid issues on site and raise EWNs when necessary

* Ensure safe working practices are at the forefront of all operations activity.

* Issue regular updates to the Projects Manager and work with them to manage project costs.

* Apply for payments as per the project payment profile and reconcile costs using a well organised system of work.

* Carry out regular CVR s.

* Management of Subcontractors ensuring works are carried out as per their order and carryout assessments of their applications for payment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and will be keen, enthusiastic and driven as we strive for positive customer outcomes.

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
