Our client is a well established Oracle / SQL Managed Service provider and Oracle Gold Partner. They need someone to help run their pre-sales activities, be an advisor to customers providing solutions and recommendations. Ideally, from a Managed Service organisation background with experience working in Solution / Technical architecture. Covering all things related to Oracle / SQL Databases, Migrations and platforms.

* Technical skills / tools required (3 key must have abilities)

Someone with 4-5 years years experience at senior level who has history working in environment from a Production DBA background, involved in patching and migration work with development teams. This is a customer facing / advisory role. Someone who can respond, and support customer issues supported in UK hours.

Production DBA / Pre-Sales / Solutions and Architecture as they use all releases of Oracle from 10g, 11g, 12c, 18, 19, 21, ODA, Exadata, and Cloud.

Leadership, and being able to work under stressful environments handling customer issues

* Is Industry knowledge essential?

Managed Service background is desirable - Oracle is 70% and SQL 30% of the business overall, so someone who can hybrid manage both teams is desirable.

1-2 days in the office to start, Sandiacre, which is J25 off the M1 (between Notts & Derby) then remote. Flexible working for the right candidate.
