My Client has over 40 years experience in hard and soft commercial landscaping on diverse projects ranging from street level works to podiums and roof gardens, their proactive can-do attitude means they are the go-to contractor for commercial projects. They also have relevant experience in residential landscaping Whether you are constructing a private dwelling, or a larger residential development, they are here to work with clients to fulfil all your soft and hard landscaping requirements. The Role

They are looking to fill a role as a landscape estimator. Vast experience isnt essential, but a pro active, can do attitude is needed. You will be responsible for estimating projects from Roof gardens, to ground floor landscaping and everything in between. Depending on experience, hybrid working will be available, so you dont have to be local to the area to apply, if you feel you have the experience. However it may be worth noting that a lot of the project can be complex, so an eye for detail will be crucial and demonstration of this will need to be presented either in your CV or at interview stage.

Duties and responsibilities:

Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labour, and equipment

*

Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors

*

Getting quotes from suppliers within a specified time frame

*

Assessing the risk levels associated with a project.

*

Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done

*

Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers

*

Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs

Requirements

You do not have to have years and years of experience to apply for this role. Ideally some relevant experience will give you a good head start for this role. But salary is dependable on experience. If you are get through to the interview stage, you will have to also complete IQ and Psychometric tests at the interview.
