About the role:
Supply Desk are working with an excellent Secondary School based in Fareham that are seeking a full time Food Technology Teacher starting ASAP on a long-term contract until July 2024 with the School looking to make the role permanent for the right teacher. The School are looking for a Food Technology teacher that has good experience teaching Food and Catering in Secondary Schools, has knowledge of health and safety and strong classroom management skills. You will be a dedicated Teacher that will be fully committed to the role and teaching students in Key Stage 3 and 4. The role will be made permanent for the right teacher and is suitable for an experienced Food Technology Teacher seeking a long term role or an ECT for Food Technology seeking a potential permanent contract in a supportive department and School.

About the school:

The school is based in Fareham and is a mixed Secondary School for students aged from 11 to 16 years with around 700 students in total. The school has a keen interest in promoting the learning of multiple languages in its students, as well as creating a friendly and enthusiastic environment through all aspects of teaching. The school place great value in their staff and offer loads of support to its team. The school is conveniently located for those travelling from Portsmouth and Southampton.

Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
Be a committed team player
Proven track record of raising attainment
Be confident and adaptable to different environments
Have strong classroom management skills
Be able to deliver English lessons in a fun and engaging way that students can relate to
Benefits:

Pay: Daily Rate (£150 - £230)
Location: Fareham
Start Date: ASAP to July 2024
Contract Length: Fixed- Long term Potential for permanent contract
