Our client is a leading firm specializing in providing comprehensive property services to portfolio landlords, property developers, and Local Authorities in the region. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chartered Building Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch surveying services to our clients, contributing to the continued growth and success of our firm.
Responsibilities:
* Conducting detailed building surveys and inspections for a variety of properties, including residential, commercial, and public buildings.
* Providing expert advice on property acquisition, development, maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
* Preparing comprehensive reports outlining findings, recommendations, and cost estimates.
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met effectively and efficiently.
* Undertaking dilapidation assessments, party wall matters, and other related services as required.
* Keeping abreast of industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and deliver high-quality service.
Requirements:
* Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
* Proven experience in building surveying, preferably within a similar role or environment.
* Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in conducting building surveys and inspections.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
* Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various locations as required.
