Full Time, Permanent Job vacancy for an SEN Teaching Assistant close to the Ferndown areqa of Dorset, to join a specialist college for children and young adults.

This is a permanent job vacancy, and this SEN Teaching Assistant job may also suit candidates living close to Ringwood, Ferndown, Bournemouth, and other nearby areas of Dorset. The job vacancy is based approximately a 30-minute commute from Bournemouth.
* £22'880 - £25K per annum pro rata

The Employer
You would be joining a specialist education college set in a beautiful location. You will be supporting young people a living with Autism, or social, emotional, and Mental Health needs.
Your Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be key in supporting the young people with their learning in a safe environment. Every member of the team has a common goal to empower the young people through learning so they can achieve their goals and a positive future. Each individual student has 1:1 support as well as support in small groups, and your role will be key to providing that support.
About you
* Knowledge or experience of working within an educational setting.
* Knowledge & experience of pupils/young adults with SEN or SEMH/ASD.
* Minimum GCSE Maths & English at Level 2/C or above is essential.
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and having a passion for working within the sector essential.
* You must be over the age of 21.
* Full driving licence & access to a car.
