Job description

This is a fulltime permanent position. My cliet is looking for a motivated and dynamic individual who will drive the business towards our goal of achieving a progressive expansion annually whilst maintaining a robust profit margin. The successful candidate will be highly motivated & proactive, a good communicator at all levels & through all media, computer literate & with an attention to detail that is second to none.

My client is a well-funded, growing, Dorset based specialist working within the commercial and Industrial sector. We are committed to excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction. We focus both refurbishment and new build projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Drive the development and growth of a company looking for new levels of business by widening the client base & supporting the existing.

* Develop highly detailed quotations & detailed proposals that highlight the scope of work for industrial roofing and cladding, for commercial and industrial settings.

* Research and continually gather data on current market trends, reviewing pricing, and industry standards to ensure competitive and realistic estimates.

* Develop comprehensive cost breakdowns and detailed proposals that highlight the scope of work, cost components, and project timelines.

* Review and refine estimates throughout the pre-project lifecycle, adapting to any changes or modifications that may arise.

* Lead initiatives to increase turnover and improve profit margins through innovative pricing strategies and cost-effective project management.

* Take charge in implementing systems and processes that enhance overall company efficiency and performance.

* Assist with day today running of a busy and expanding business.

Qualities of the successful candidate:

* Minimum 5 years experience in estimating & sales for roofing, cladding & sheeting.

* Strong communication through all media, with the ability to confidently present to board level.

* Personal appearance must be maintained commensurate with the senior position.

* An extreme attention to detail.

* Proven track record of securing profitable construction projects.

* Expertise in pricing projects related to industrial roofing and cladding.

* Extensive business development experience, including the ability to bring in new and draw from an existing client base.

* Sales-driven mentality with a strong ambition to drive the company towards higher levels of success.

* Demonstrated leadership skills with a proactive & flexible approach to the role.

* Ability to implement and execute improvements to existing systems for enhanced efficiency.

* Strong negotiation skills.
