Field Service Engineer

Up to £47,500 + Company vehicle / Phone / Laptop

Industry leading manufacturing experts, based in the Cheshire area have an exciting new opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join their ever-expanding, forward-thinking business on a permanent basis. This opportunity will allow the right candidate to develop, excel and make their own stamp within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond promptly and effectively to requests from the Service Desk to attend customer sites.

* Install and perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures on the full range of equipment to the required standard to ensure customer satisfaction.

* Assist with customer training requirements.

* Provide technical telephone support to all customers and staff.

* Assist customers and colleagues with problems that arise offering practical and appropriate solutions.

* Deal professionally, competently, and courteously with customers, suppliers and colleagues in verbal and written communications.

* Maintain individual skills and technical knowledge to Company standards.

* Ensure that the company is represented in an efficient and professional manner, including adherence to the Company Code of Practice for conduct, appearance, and transport.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

* Completed apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

* Experience within a service role previously would be ideal.

* FMCG - Food / Packaging / Pharmaceutical / Drinks manufacturing experience would be desirable.

* Attention to detail

* Ability to use initiative and problem solve.
