Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs & maintenance industry.
We are currently working with one of the largest housing associations who are looking for a Glazier/multi trader to carry out work within the occupied social housing properties within the BR & SE Postal Areas and surrounding areas.
The role:
Glazier to join the repairs team. The purpose of this role is to undertake UPVC door and window repairs, glazing, basic carpentry and associated tasks on mainly domestic properties located throughout Merton and surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities:
* Undertake UPVC Repairs, Glazing and Carpentry works. Works to be completed in line with all relevant industry standards, British Standards, and any other applicable industry best practices.
* Ability to diagnose faults and rectify effectively. Repairs carried out on first visit wherever possible.
* Where additional works are required, the ability to provide clear information as to work, duration and materials required.
* Good IT skills, all works issued through Software and Certification to be completed Electronically - Training on the software will be provided.
* Undertake basic works of other trades relative to work undertaken or, as directed by line manager
* Comply with statutory and company health and safety regulations and policy
* Work closely to target timescales
* Maintain van stock levels
