Job Description:
As a senior RVN, you will play a key role in the small animal department. Responsibilities include providing excellent nursing care, assisting with surgeries, and supporting the veterinary team. The role involves conducting consultations, with no reception duties required.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting consultations and assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
Providing excellent nursing care to small animals.
Monitoring patients during surgeries and post-operative recovery.
Maintaining accurate patient records.
Educating pet owners on preventive healthcare and post-operative care.
Collaborating effectively with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Mentoring and supporting junior staff members.
Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the clinic.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates should possess a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification.
A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.
A passion for animal care and welfare.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Enthusiasm for continuing professional development.
Benefits:
A CPD (Continuing Professional Development) allowance of £500.
