About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a full time male superhero "support worker" to work at our residential service in Haworth, Bradford.
At Three Sisters we support adults with a variety of different needs from learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge.
As a superhero Support Worker you will deliver intensive support with all aspects of everyday living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities. You must be resilient, flexible and composed in your approach as this will be a challenging environment to work in, although equally rewarding. You will understand the importance of reflective practice and be involved in debriefs and incident analysis to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individuals.
Whilst no two days are the same typically, youll help the people we support with everyday challenges such as personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending health appointments, maintaining relationships and taking part in hobbies & activities. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are meaningful to the people we support.
We are therefore looking for a male support worker with previous experience who can hit the ground running. However we will still provide a full training programme that is specific to the needs of the individuals we support.
We have 1 full time position for a male support worker which will predominantly cover day shifts with occasional waking nights. The hours of work are inclusive of earlies, lates, weekends and bank holidays.
