Primary Teaching Assistant

Day rate: £80-100

We are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in a primary school located in the Ashford area.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work with classes in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 ranging from year 1-6, supporting students who are eager to learn. Candidates that demonstrate a proactive and supportive approach will be desirable.

Most Teaching Assistant roles will be temporary but offer a mix of full and part time. Temp-to-perm opportunities will often come up regularly.

Requirements for this role are as follows:

Experience working as a teaching assistant in a UK primary school

Ability to showcase excellent behaviour management strategies

Live within easy access of the Ashford area

Be in possession of an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to acquire this)

Be able to assist the class teacher with classroom preparation

Confident working 1:1 and within small groups of children
