Are you a Senior Children's Support Worker looking for the next step? I'm recruiting a Deputy Manager to join an ambitious and growing Children's Residential organisation in Deal, Kent.

**Due to the nature of the job and the activities involved, I am only able to consider applicants who have relevant qualifications in Children's Residential services, a full drivers licence and car**
Role: Deputy Manager - Children's Home
Salary: £35,000 - £39,000 (including sleep ins) + bonuses
Location: Deal, Kent
Hours: 40 hours per week

As a Deputy Manager you will be responsible for the following:
Supporting the management to run a successful staff team and all day to day operations of the home
To assist the management team with the supervisions of junior staff
Inducting new staff into the homes procedure and culture
Ensuring the highest standards of care in relation to the young people's physical, behavioural and emotional needs.
Assist senior staff with the writing and maintaining of placement and risk management plans
Support young people in daily activities including family contact, attending local clubs, 1:1 activities in the community, promoting independence and social behavior.
Essential Requirements of a Deputy Manager:
2 years experience working in a Children's Home
General knowledge and experience of the Social Care sector
Experience as a Senior Support Worker in a Children's Residential Support Work environment
Have a Level 3 in Children and Young People/Residential Child Care
You must be over the age of 21
Be willing to work early, late and long shifts, as well as sleep in shifts as part of the home's rota pattern
