The Opportunity
Given recent and forecasted growth, an opportunity has arisen for a junior buyer to join a specialist nuclear engineering consultancy in the Warrington area.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Assist in the procurement process for nuclear, electrical, and engineering categories, including supplier identification, evaluation, and relationship management.
Conduct research on market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry regulations to support procurement decisions
Assist in cost analysis and pricing negotiations to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier information, contracts, and pricing data.
Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and systems.
Process purchase orders, liaise with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies.You will have the following qualifications & experience
Bachelors degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
Experience in a buyer/procurement role, preferably in the nuclear or electrical sector.
Understanding of procurement process, supplier selection and some knowledge of regulations and standards for procurement.
