Early Years Teaching Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: South Sheffield Primary School

Days: Wednesday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm daily

Hours: Part-time

Start Date: ASAP

Qualifications Required: Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification

Are you passionate about early years education and dedicated to supporting young learners? We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at a moderately-sized primary school in South Sheffield. This part-time position (3 days a week, Wednesday to Friday) is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual with experience in supporting phonics interventions and a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, focusing on phonics interventions.
Support the implementation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring a holistic approach to early years education.
Collaborate with the teaching team to assess and track the progress of individual students.
Foster positive relationships with both students and parents, promoting effective communication.Requirements:

Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification.
Proven experience in supporting phonics interventions.
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
