Hunter AHP Resourcing have an amazing locum opportunities for Band 6/7/8a Pharmacists to join an NHS hospital service in Shropshire.

Our client is currently seeking a Band 6/7/8a Pharmacist to join their inpatients team on an immediate basis, working 3-5 days per week, for at least 6 months.

The clinical duties will be dependent on previous experience:

Band 6 - No previous hospital experience and you will be trained in the dispensary initially for the first 3 months with potential to be trained on wards after.

Band 7 - Previous hospital experience working in a dispensary and looking for first or further experience on wards. Will be covering dispensary duties also.

Band 8a - Expected to hit the ground running working on the wards and in the dispensary.

These locum roles are due to start immediately, with a working pattern of MondayFriday, 3-5 days per week, 9am5pm with 30 minutes for lunch.

The contract length of these roles will be for at least 6 months, with a high likelihood for this to extend. There may possibly be the option to take on a permanent position at the end of the contract here for the right applicant.

The service is based in Shropshire with accessible public transport links, such as a train station near to the hospital with a short walk to the bus station, where frequent bus services run to and from the hospital. Their is also parking available close by with a discounted price for hospital workers.

Pay rate for this role will depend on your prior experience.

- £23-£35 per hour (depending on banding and experience)

- Start date: ASAP! March 2024

- Duration: 6 months possibility to take permanent contract at end of role

- 5 days per week, no weekend working available.
