Manufacturing Engineer

£35,000 - £45,000 Depending on experience

Days Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week

Prince are recruiting on behalf of a very well-established client in Telford who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join the business. This company have some exciting plans in place and are currently driving continuous improvements across the company.

You will be working to design, develop, implement, and improve on manufacturing processes onsite. You will be responsible for conducting route cause analysis, aiming to improve production times and minimise costs, and identify areas of improvement needed using a variety of CI tools.

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:

* Support with the design, development, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing processes onsite

* Identify areas of improvement within processes, quality, and manufacturing

* Aim to improve a variety of areas such as production times and minimise costs

* Carry out route cause analysis and implement corrective actions where needed

* Suggest and implement new technologies or equipment to enhance performance

* Create and maintain all relevant documentation

* Work closely with internal departments on improvement projects

Skills and Experience

* Must have experience within an improvement focused role in a machine or fabrications environment

* Experience with implementing and improving manufacturing processes

* Experience with Lean methodology and Kaizen

* Degree or qualification within a relevant industry

* This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer / CI Engineer / Improvement Engineer / Lean Engineer
