Hunter Mason's client specialises in Building, Renovation and Development projects for both residential and commercial sectors.
As a Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor you will be joining our client within the sub-contractor market. The successful candidate will be part of a growing and successful team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse cost estimates for construction projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget
- Collaborate with project teams to develop cost control strategies
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Provide advice on cost management and value engineering
- Prepare progress reports and financial forecasts for projects
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities
Requirements:
- 3+ Years in either Construction Project Management or Quantity Surveying
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
- Proficient in using cost estimating software and tools
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
