Have you got experience working in a Sheet Metal position?

Are you familiar with reading CAD drawings?

Our client is a large manufacturer based in Thanet who provides trusted products for some of the biggest brands in the UK, and they are looking for a Sheet Metal Operative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis

As the Sheet Metal Operative, you will be responsible for:

* Operating various sheet metal fabrication machinery including shears, press brakes, punch presses, and laser cutting machines.

* Reading engineering CAD drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production

* Setting up machinery and equipment according to job requirements

* Cutting, bending, shaping, and forming sheet metal to precise measurements

Person Specification:

* Must have previous experience working in a sheet metal role

* Proficiency in operating sheet metal machinery and equipment

* Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints
