Mechanical Engineer (Night)
Were working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add an experienced Mechanical Engineer to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.
Location: Near St Austell
Salary: £38,000 plus overtime
Shift - Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night shifts and every other Saturday night shift on rotation
42 hours per week average
18.00hrs - 06.00hrs with a 1 hour paid break
The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day running, repairs and maintenance of all production related equipment, including breakdown repairs and continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and general site facility tasks.
To be successful, we would like you to have:
* Relevant training or have served an apprenticeship
* Have experience working as an Industrial Mechanical Shift Engineer within Industrial, Manufacturing or Automation.
* Any experience in the printing or packaging industry would be beneficial but not essential.
* Experience with maintenance programmes within a large scale manufacturing environment.
* Electromechanical skills are a definite advantage but not essential
* Have excellent communication, organisational and team work skills
* Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential.

Specific training will be provided. Some machine assets have OEM remote support diagnostics
