Trainee HSE Advisor (Construction)

Buckingham

£40,000 + Bonus + Progression + Training + Health Cash Back Plan

Have you got experience working in the construction industry, looking to get off the tools, and transfer your industry knowledge into a new line of work, as an HSE advisor, where you will receive internal and external training with a supportive and established company, that will build your career, where your development and actions will maintain the health, safety and well-being of all their employees and subcontractors?

Are you looking to hold a high level of responsibility, working on key projects such as HS2, adding direct value through your technical support and expertise, with the ability to train in your NEBOSH, and develop your new career?

You will be a site-based HSE Advisor, providing operational health, safety and environmental technical support and advice to the site team, as well as completing internal audits for HS2 contracts. You will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry best practices. In particular, you will work to maintain ISO 45001 and 14001.

The Role:

Provide regular site inspections and checks for HSE compliance
Risk management and reputation in all operational activities
Implementing and planning Safe Systems of Work
Provide robust reporting regimes are followed for HSE reportable incidents and gather evidence, carry out investigations
Deliver internal training on HSE protocolThe Person:
