We are seeking a passionate individual who holds a degree in Science alongside Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification. This role will involve teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students with SEMH needs, making it an incredibly rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons in Science subjects
Providing tailored support to students with SEMH needs
Implementing effective behaviour management strategies
Collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment
Engaging with parents and guardians to provide progress updates
Participating in the planning and marking of student work
Key Requirements:
Degree in Science
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
Strong behaviour management skills
Empathy and understanding towards SEMH needs
Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3/4 level
Willingness to engage in planning and marking duties
