What does the role involve?

Buying both raw materials and sourcing finished goods for your assigned category
Providing procurement support for NPD (New Product Development) projects
Negotiating prices and commercial terms with suppliers
Building value-adding supplier relationships with key suppliers
Delivering cost saving through effective procurement strategies and VA/VE

Ideal Skills and Experience

Previous Procurement or Buying experience in FMCG or Retail
Proven track record in Procurement and/or New Product Development (own brand or private label)
Strong commercial acumen and confident negotiation skills
Great communication and stakeholder engagement to be able to work collaboratively
Excellent analytical skills, ideally with good working knowledge of Excel
Drive and ambition to further develop your career in Procurement
