3-bedroom furnished Cottage on the hill above St Dogmaels (rent negotiable)
Large 100 sq.m cottage, part of a fully detached property set in a small valley near the top of the hill above the picturesque village of St Dogmaels a few miles from the sea and beautiful Pembrokeshire coastal walks.
Please note that this rental is initially for a short term (2 to 6 months), however there is a possibility it can be long term, dependent on interview and a probation period to see how we get along. Rent amount between £700 and £800pcm depending on circumstances.
The property is surrounded on most sides by fields and small woods. There are a few neighbouring houses dotted around up and down the quiet country lane here, they are not very visible and over 40 metres away behind trees.
The cottage in question is semi-detached as part of a 3 cottage building. One of the other cottages is currently used sometimes as a holiday let, and the other cottage is lived in by myself (the owner of these cottages).
The heating is from a brand new air-source-heatpump which is pretty efficient and costs little to run most of the year (except very cold spells). There is also a mid-sized high-quality woodburner in the living room which heats the house well too. There is a downstairs shower room/toilet, as well as an upstairs bathroom/toilet.
There are no water bills or sewage costs to pay and fibre broadband internet is provided at a very small extra cost. Electricity during the summer is all free (provided by solar) . The cottage has a spring water supply to it's taps. This is possible to easily switch back to mains water on request. Council tax (if applicable) is to be paid by the tenant(s).
There is plenty of off-road parking in the large private enclosed yard which is shared. A shared vegetable path is also available for your use at the back.
Bedroom#1 has a kingsize bed, bedroom's 2 and 3 have single beds. The cottage has a large open-plan living room with kitchen, and also a separate dining room that could also be used as a storage room or 4th bedroom for guests.
Note: this cottage had a complete renovation in 2023 and is fully furnished with all appliances, beds, crockery etc and all new carpets in every room. (All rooms use eco-paints and all materials/carpets are fully natural).
