We provide residential care for children and young people who have experienced some of lifes most challenging circumstances and adverse conditions. Through joining us you will work within a confident and experienced care team. Working closely with our clinical and educational colleagues to improve outcomes for our children. Working within this multi-disciplinary team you will work directly with children who have been victims of exploitation, neglect and have complex care needs with a focus on rebuilding resilience, working around managing risks and creating a safe and bright future for when they move on into the next stage of their journey. You will also work closely with external agencies such as social care, local police and other partners to ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of our children.
All of our youth workers are fully supported to excel in their roles and are given a comprehensive induction into the company, which is then supported with quality ongoing training and supervision.

Your key responsibilities as the Registered Manager:
As the Registered Manager you will have full autonomy of your home, youll be integral to the smooth running of daily life within your home, enabling young people to thrive. You will inspire and lead your team to manage a warm and friendly home that provides a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to achieve positive outcomes whilst also achieving compliance with the Childrens Homes Regulations and ensuring your home is always able to evidence a high standard of care and quality. You will be responsible for the organisation of work patterns, facilitation of training, and the accessing of appropriate services to support the childcare practices within your homes.
You will lead a team of colleagues and facilitate their professional development so that they not only provide high-quality care and support, but are enabled to fulfil their own career potential too. You will be supported by our Recruitment Team in the recruitment of a compassionate and motivated team, and help build a fantastic workplace culture where colleagues feel valued and rewarded for the work that they do. You will design, implement and monitor the care and education plans to meet the individual needs of our children and young people, ensuring that key life and independent skills are achieved in the enriching and positive environment we strive to create. Responsible for the organisation of work patterns, facilitation of training, and the accessing of appropriate services to support the childcare practices within your homes.
The successful candidate will have:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and management (Residential Childcare) or working towards
Have a minimum of 2 years experience of managing an Ofsted home that carries a rating of good or above.
Have experience of working with children and young people with challenging behaviours including mental health and behavioural problems
Full UK Driving license
Excellent knowledge of current legislations The Childrens Homes England Regulations 2015, Quality Standards 2015, the Childrens Act 1989, Children Act 2004 alongside all other legislations that are relevant to residential childrens homesOur benefits:
