EMBS Engineering is working with one of our long-standing partners, who have established themselves as one of the market-leading precision engineering companies within the UK for their ability to manufacture complex sub-assembly components for high-profile industries including aerospace, defence and power.

As a Senior Mechanical Inspector, you will be required to carry out inspections in accordance with relevant plans to ensure that components are conforming to the correct standards.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

Strong quality inspection background
Minimum 5 years experience within a precision engineering/advanced manufacturing environment
Ability to perform inspection (both visual and dimensional) using manual measuring equipment
Ability to set and operate CMM using PCDIMIS (programming is beneficial)
Experience in carrying out First off and Final Inspection
Confidence in identifying non-conforming products
Knowledge of GD&T
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail
In return, the client is offering:

Permanent position
£35k per annum
Day Shift - 07.30 to 16.30 Monday to Thursday, and 07.30 to 12.30 on Fridays
