ABC Teachers are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team in a preschool room of a Primary school in Shrewsbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about early childhood education and wants to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.

The role
The responsibilities in this role will include:

Assisting with classroom management and creating a safe and engaging atmosphere for children.
Supporting the teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities.
Providing one-on-one and small group support to students who may require additional assistance.
Encouraging and promoting positive behaviour and social interaction among students.
The school
This will be based in a primary school based in the heart of the county town of Shrewsbury. They have been known for their positive feedback from staff who have been there previously commenting on how welcoming they are as a school.

Requirements
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a nurturing demeanour.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is advantageous but not essential.
A clear and current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Two professional references.
