Our Client is looking for a contract engineer to join their team in the North West area. Our client has an excellent reputation and is continuing to grow their portfolio. They have high level blue chip clients who are delivering excellent projects in sectors such as automotive, chemicals, defence and food and beverage.

In this role as a contract engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of the project from the first marketing approach, through quotation, negotiation, realisation, costs, invoicing, final acceptance, receipts, from conception to completion. This role will also be responsible for identifying opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

Identify projects and Responsible for tenders until successful receipt of orders
Oversee the successful delivery of projects to scope, target cost, quality, programme and completion encompassing design, engineering, construction, handover and commercial aspects
Implement a full risk and value engineering management process where all risks and cost savings opportunities are identified and
Ensure that project imperatives are clearly communicated and understood throughout the project and to others, as appropriateYou will need:

Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Electrical engineering or equivalent technical discipline
Supervisor status with equivalent technical discipline and experience
Experienced in the Design Fabrication and install of Mechanical works such as pipework and general fabrication and installation.
Experienced in site surveys leading to modifications to existing
