Progress Teachers are looking for a Cover Supervisor to work within a local secondary school based in Nuneaton. You will be required to provide day-to-day cover for lessons and ensure all work is delivered effectively in the absence of the regular teacher.

Roles and responsibilities:

* Delivering pre-planned work from the curriculum to students between the age of 11-14

* Managing classroom behaviour

* Engaging with the classroom and ensuring student maintain focus.

* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

* Manage classroom activities and respond to any queries from students.

* Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain continuity in the learning process.

* Report any issues or concerns to appropriate school personnel.

Requirements

* Strong Communication skills

* Ability to manage behaviour in line with school policies and procedures.

* Experience working children or young people.

* A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

* Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics.

* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

* Enthusiasm for education and a commitment to student development
