IDRIVE Recruitment are looking for a HGV 1 Driver Technician for an International Logistics provider based in Hertfordshire that specialise in the packaging and delivering of art handling, installation storage and art transport.

An ideal candidate for this role will be a HGV 1 Driver, Handler or Technician and removal experience is ideal but not essential.

This role will be a 2 stage interview process and if passed you will be working full time directly with the company.

Job Description

* Packing and delivering of works of art and other high-value items.

* Getting involved in specialist work including the installation of art and sculptures.

* There will be a fair amount of heavy lifting in this role.

* Handling all items safely, packing and delivering them between private homes, museums and galleries.

* Monday to Friday rota with possible Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday shifts.

* Start times will vary and usually 06:00-08:00am.

* An average day will be around 10 hours.

* This role could include travelling to the EU.

Payment

£15 per hour Monday to Friday and an average week will be around 50 hours.

£21 per hour if working on Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays.

25 days holiday per year including Bank Holidays.

Weekly payment.

Requirements for this role

* UK HGV 1 license.

* CPC and Tacho qualifications.

* Experience in handling specialist, valuable and fragile items.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Able to work away within the UK and abroad and undertake any nights out in cab or hotel accommodation.

* Strong written, verbal communication and numeracy skills.
