A growing respectable family run commercial cleaning and Soft FM business is looking to hire a talented and experienced Business Development Manager with immediate effect, due to an internal promotion into a different area of the business.

Salary - depending on experience plus a car package, plus an uncapped commission scheme, plus a team bonus scheme, plus great benefits ( life insurance, healthcare and pension, EAP schemes and more). Bonus you can expect within a year is circa 20-25k. This role could move up to a Senior BDM role over time and lead the growing team.

This business have grown steadily over the last 20 years from 0 Turnover to 35 mil turnover all organically, through steady and sensible activity. They have some strong USP's that clients really value. Their offering is commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, window cleaning, waste, office consumables, and more. You will be responsible for winning business off end users and also FM providers, across the UK. You will have dedicated support from an internal sales department, and will have resources to lean on internally to win deals. The business foster a real team approach to winning deals which customers notice and value highly. They have a very high client retention rate which BDM's benefit from bonus payments on repeat business as well as new client acquisitions. This is a really varied role with great rewards and a very stable steady culture. The business development team of 5 as it stands are all people who have been with the business between 5-15 years so stability within the team is key.

Ideal candidates MUST have strong Sales experience within Soft FM and ideally with an understanding of daily cleaning and the delivery models of this service line. Ideal candidates will live in either Midlands, North West or West, South or North Yorkshire areas, although candidates from further afield will be considered depending on their experience.
