The Accounts Administrator is primarily responsible for the tracking, recording and utilisation of information provided to the client by third parties regarding projects submitted under the government scheme; as well as resolving any post submission queries. The accounts administrator also drives quality standards of the team by completing regular audit checks and providing constructive feedback, which catalyses positive change.
Accountabilities and responsibilities
* Tracking and resolving all post submission queries received from retailers, along with the associated monetary values; which is provided to relevant stakeholders.
* Providing information regarding post submission queries received from retailers to the appropriate subcontractors.
* Liaising with subcontractors to provide support in resolving any post submission queries and answering any other queries.
* Regularly discussing post submission queries with and answering queries from retailers.
* Discussing any open investigations with retailers, as well as any relevant concerns.
* Maintaining up to date and accurate records of the audit information and post submission queries received from retailers.
* Provide analysis of trends in post submission queries from retailers and accurate reporting to provide valuable feedback and training recommendations to the team.
* Providing training to the administrators where required.
* Responsible for validating Annual Bill Savings (ABS) figures and monetary values for all projects submitted.
* Reporting post submission Annual Bill Savings (ABS) changes and funding value changes to the accounts coordinator and manager.
* Supporting the accounts coordinator with the issuing of contractor statements.
* Supporting the accounts coordinator with processing retailers request for invoice.
* Identifying inefficiencies in processes within the accounts team and suggesting improvements.
Key knowledge and skills
* Knowledge of Energy Company Obligation preferred but not essential.
* Attention to detail.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to adapt and prioritise workloads.
* Work with other departments as and when required
