Laboratory Assistant Required!

Our client is a leading industrial lubricant and chemical manufacturing business, known for their commitment to quality and excellence. Due to the ongoing success, they are currently seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join their team.

Laboratory Assistant Position Overview

* Following batch instructions to weight batches, charge, and mix inks

* Picking, Weighing, and Mixing Chemicals

* Monitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjust as needed.

* Following procedures to filter, package and label inks.

* Making QC adjustments as instructed

* Matching new ink recipes

* Recording ink recipes

* Cleaning and sterilising equipment

* Complete batch documentation, including liquid yield.

* Daily calibration checks

* Maintain accurate chemical batch records and documentation.

* Working with the Quality team regarding SOPs, Chemical testing, and finished liquid testing.

Laboratory Assistant Position Requirements

* Previous experience in a laboratory setting

* Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and safety protocols.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) for data recording and reporting.

* Experience in an ink kitchen, working with chemicals, printing presses, or colour matching (beneficial)

Laboratory Assistant Position Remuneration

* Salary: £24,000 - £25,000

* Monday Friday 08:30 16:00

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays

* Immediate start available

* Company pension scheme

* Parking on site.
