My client is looking to recruit an experienced Bench Hand Joiner on a fulltime basis. Experience is required in manufacturing traditional joinery such as timber doors, frames, windows, counters and feature panels etc. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team to produce high quality joinery items. This role is workshop based, however there may be occasions when site work is required to install and fit our Joinery.

Responsibilities:

Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience and must have a working knowledge in Traditional Joinery inc. Timber Doors/Windows Etc.
Experience in using machines Planer Thicknesser, Spindle moulder, Routers, Saws etc.
Perform work according to specifications, plans, and drawings.
Work with hardwood and softwood and sheet materials including solid surfacing
Flexible, reliable and demonstrate a positive attitude.
Driving license advantageous.
Ensure that work performed is safe, clean, and meets specifications.
Follow all health and safety standards.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Assist in maintaining a safe environment for yourself and co-workers.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, reliable, hardworking and who can follow instructions as well as working independently to complete jobs in a timely manner.

My client offers 20 day paid holiday day plus all statutory bank holiday days, working a 40-hour week with over time as and when required, the hourly rate is negotiable depending on your experience and working knowledge of the industry.

Work Location:

Cleckheaton with installation work on Site as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Salary: £15.00-£17.00 per hour dependant on skills and experience
