anzuk education is currently looking for a school caretaker to work 15 hours on a temporary contract in the Caerphilly area. The role is starting on the 08/12/2023 and is a long term opportunity with the potential of going permanent for the right person.

About the role:

You will be working 15 hours, Monday - Friday between the hours of 3:00pm - 6:00pm.

Your other responsibilities will also involve:

Ensure the school premises are clean, safe and secure at all times
Carry out daily cleaning duties
Undertake minor maintenance and repair work
Liaise with external contractors when necessary
Manage stock levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Assist with setting up and clearing away of school events and functions
Be available for occasional weekend and evening work as required Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Ability to undertake minor maintenance and repair work
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Enhanced DBS check will be required Salary:

You can expect an hourly rate of £13.07 for this role.
