About the Role:
We have exciting opportunities for Software Engineers to work as part of a team and contribute to the full hardware/software lifecycle including design, testing and documentation. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organised, determined and will thrive in an expanding development environment. They will have a willingness to work within a dynamic team to get the job done to a high standard.
Main Duties:
Primarily hardware/software automation development across multiple industry sectors
Liaise with the Engineering team to gain technical assistance
To be aware of and comply with Company Standards of Conduct and all relevant statutory requirements
To carry out any other reasonable management request
Essential Job Specific Skills & Qualification:
Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
Highly organised and self-motivated
Able to use own initiative and work without supervision
Ability to travel
Desirable:
Experience with PLC/SCADA applications
Experience with developing .net applications
Software Test Methodologies knowledge
Agile development process knowledge
Presentation and communication skills
PLC Code Development to IEC61131 Ladder Logic primarily
Advanced level of using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio and Access)
