Construction Project Manager

Full time, Permanent

BUPA, Company car and pension

Salary Package £45000- £60000 dependant on experience

A exciting opportunity for a construction project manager to join an established business expanding their existing team due to sucessful business growth.

Reporting to the contracts manager,the principal role of the construction projection is to work within the project delivery team to manage all projects to the required specifications, objectives and deliverables. The PM will own the operational delivery of the projects against specification and report key risks & project KPIs to the CM.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning

Managing key project deliverables & specifications requirements.

Managing project risks & opportunities.

Generating detailed SSOW, RAMs and site plans working closely with the site manager.

Mobilisation

Ensuring mobilisation actions are fed into the project team via the PAPs & SSP.

Setting the contract programme and CVRs for the project.

Operational Delivery

Managing against the set programme,Reporting on the programme & identifying change

Management of the site team in terms of project delivery to specification

HSQE

To ensure projects are planned with consideration to all QHSE requirements and legal
compliance

COMMERCIAL & RISKS AND OPPORTUNITIES

Report significant risk to the QS & CM.

Work with the QS to identify change & manage through with the QS.

Keep cost & revenue forecasting live and accurate

PROGRAMME & CHANGE

Ownership of project contract programmes.

COMPLIANCE & TECHNICAL

Ensure that processes set within the project delivery team are adhered to at all levels.

Utilise industry knowledge to ascertain best methodology for projects and the generating of SSOWs to set these.

MEETINGS AND REPORTING

Desirable skills and knowledge includes:

* Basic knowledge of HSQE legislation including but not limited to; CDM2015 and

* Management and development training HASAWA1974

* Development of project programmes

* Good understanding of BS6187

* A working understanding of the principles of quality management systems and standards(in particular (phone number removed) and how to follow policies and procedures.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Demolition industry experience is desirable
