Construction Technician Role - Northamptonshire

Think FE is delighted to present a unique opportunity for a Construction Technician to join the team at a leading college in Northamptonshire. This role is ideally suited for individuals with a passion for construction and a particular interest or background in Carpentry.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours weekly, across 38 working weeks annually.
Location: Based in the rural heart of Northamptonshire.
Salary: £17911 per annum

What will you be doing?

Daily support in the construction area and its facilities.
Ordering materials and resources to ensure operational efficiency.
Upholding health and safety standards.
Preparing construction workshops for practical teaching sessions.
Maintenance of tools and equipment.
Assisting students with practical activities under faculty supervision.
Ensuring the Construction Workshops are maintained to college standards. Whats on offer?

33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays).
A generous pension contribution of 23%
FTE Salary is 21,660, pro rata to 17,911 do to term time only contract working Term time only (37.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year). What do you need?

A minimum of Grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent).
Experience within the construction crafts or building services sector, with a preference for those with Carpentry experience.
You will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check including Child barred list before you can start your new role. Next steps
