Sales Engineer
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, energetic sales engineer to work for a well-established engineering company.

Reporting to the Division Manager, the purpose of this role is to develop close relationships with new and existing customers and generate orders and achieve sales targets in the UK region. To achieve this by promoting the full range of equipment within the brand portfolio. Significant technical training will be offered during the onboarding process to ensure you have everything you need to be successful in the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the sales team with solution selling into prospect account base.
* Identify and develop own leads in new and existing customers.
* Manage and interpret customer requirements.
* Proactively account manage clients in your portfolio and bring opportunities to a multi-disciplinary team.
* Organise site visits to new and existing customers.
* Attend exhibitions and conferences and promote the brand portfolio.
* Act as a key source of market intelligence for the business, by utilising different stakeholders to obtain critical information on the external environment.
* Make strategic decisions for the future direction of the business.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Experience in Technical Sales role: 2 years required.
* Experience in a customer facing role.
* Experience using a CRM system desirable.
* Good communication and presentation skills.
* Good organisational skills.
* Capable of being a good team player.
* Have the ability to work under their own initiative.
