Established Facilities Management organisation is looking for a Services Coordinator to join their busy team supporting Event Organisation in a Conference Centre environment. As Services Coordinator, you will play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring and coordinating the entire event, ensuring adherence to the planned schedule is maintained.

* Coordinate and supervise events in a Conference Centre
* Working closely alongside another representative
* Specifically interact with key event requestors on detailing the onsite logistics and set up for exhibitions
* Liaise with service stakeholders (e.g. IT, VideoConfering, AV etc)
* Coordinate the Facilities Management on site activities for the preparation of special events
* Coordinate and support AudioVisual system development and operations in the Conference Centre
* Support the catering service development
* Coordination of complex user requests related to Facilities Management services
* Ad-hoc support to Head of Facilities Management Service
* Lead close collaboration with Facilities Management in the implementation of ad-hoc projects with third party companies
* Arrange the implementation of accommodation requests from onsite personnel
* Coordinate inputs to further evolution of the Conference Centre services, event types, communications with stakeholders and CC specific website
Skills and attributes required by Services Coordinator:
* Previous experience in Customer Service
* Excellent computer skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office software required
* Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with visitors, contractors, staff and vendors
* Excellent customer services skills to offer help and support at all levels
* Display high levels of self-organising and multi-tasking skills
* Ability to work on own initiative whilst also being a team player
* Exercise independent judgment, responding to changing business requirements
* Attention to detail
Location: Harwell, Oxfordshire
Hours of Work: Role will be full time, with hours flexible to meet Conference requirements
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 p.a.
