They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team in Nottingham. As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our customer base in the region. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industrial and commercial sectors.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
* Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
* Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
* Stay updated on industry developments and product offerings.
Requirements:
* Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the industrial or construction sector.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong business acumen and ability to understand client requirements.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer relationship management.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to travel within the assigned region as required.
* Valid driver's license.
