The Role: As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with a student with special educational needs, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. You will collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to implement individualised learning plans and strategies, ensuring that the student receives the support they need to thrive in a mainstream classroom environment.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a mainstream school setting

* Knowledge of various learning difficulties, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and speech and language disorders

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

* Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to meeting the individual needs of each student

* Relevant qualifications or training in special education or support work (desirable but not essential)
