History Teacher - Supply (KS3/KS4)

Supporting one school based in the Tameside region with a short-term cover they have available commencing after the October Half Term.

Pay is £130 - £185 per day (PAYE)

About this particular role;

Connex Education are working with a Faith School based in Tameside, Manchester who are looking to appoint a History Teacher to cover a opportunity commencing Monday 30th October on an ongoing basis.

They're a highly reputable school with really positive reviews who can cater to either an ECT or an experienced specialist. This is an opportunity to work within a welcoming and enthusiastic environment with wonderful children, supportive staff, governors and parents who have close links and group support from the other schools in this forward-thinking Catholic multi-academy trust at this exciting time in their development.

They're based in central Tameside, Greater Manchester with excellent transport routes from most of East Manchester with an 8.30am start and 3pm finish Monday through Friday schedule.

Skills required for this History Teaching position;

A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status with a Humanities or History specialism/experience.
The ability to teach to GCSE standard.
Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.
