Job Overview: Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a skilled Mould Process Engineer to join their team.

Remit:

* This role will suit a skilled, hands on, Injection Moulding Process Technician with a thorough understanding of injection moulding machinery, processing and ancillary equipment

Role:

* In the role of Mould Process Engineer you will be responsible for the optimisation of new, modified and/or refurbished mould tools through the application of structured process optimisation tools

* As Mould Process Engineer you will monitor and record the performance of setters in terms of efficiency and quality of product produced

* The successful Mould Process Engineer will work collaboratively with the Mould Technicians to reduce downtime, improve efficiency and safety through training

* Take ownership of all moulding process validation activities to ensure all mould tools are qualified to the agreed schedule and quality standard

* Provide technical support for injection moulding machinery and ancillary equipment

* Working to reduce downtime and optimise processes with regard to tool changes to achieve maximum productivity

* Completion of root cause analysis investigations using standard investigation tools to ensure production and process related issues are fully resolved

* Work closely with the senior leadership team to identify and progress continuous improvement initiatives

Experience:

* Minimum 5 years plastic injection moulding processing experience

* Industry recognised injection moulding qualifications

* Demonstrable practical experience in the development of injection moulding process development in a manufacturing environment

* Proven experience with the optimisation and conditioning of injection moulding machinery, tooling and automation

* Sound decision making and problem solving skills

* Strong communication skills

* Experience processing a range of materials
