Position Overview: As a full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the head of the classroom to deliver interventions and group work sessions to support children's learning. You may also assist with SATS preparation, helping students build confidence and achieve their potential. Working in small groups of children with similar abilities, you will facilitate engaging and immersive lessons to support their educational progress.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the head of the classroom to deliver interventions and group work sessions for Key Stage 2 students.
* Assist with SATS preparation, providing targeted support to help students build confidence and excel in their exams.
* Work in small groups of children with similar abilities, delivering tailored interventions to address specific learning needs.
* Facilitate fun and immersive lessons that cater to the diverse learning styles of students.
* Support children in overcoming challenges with school work, fostering academic progress and achievement.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience working with older children in an educational setting, particularly within Key Stage 2.
* Demonstrated expertise in delivering interventions, group work, and SATS preparation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children through fun and immersive learning experiences.
