An exciting opportunity awaits at a charming school nestled in the heart of Barnet. We are seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join our dedicated team. Role Overview: As the head of the KS2 classroom, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and supportive learning environments for students. Responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues, implementing tailored learning plans, fostering inclusive atmospheres, and building strong partnerships with parents and guardians.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the KS2 classroom, facilitating immersive and stimulating lessons to support student learning and development.

* Collaborate seamlessly with fellow educators to deliver targeted support for students with special educational needs.

* Implement dynamic teaching methodologies to address the unique needs of each child, ensuring their social and emotional well-being.

* Actively engage students in classroom activities, fostering participation and enthusiasm in their educational journey.

* Foster strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and fellow professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to student development.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven experience working with older children in an educational setting, specifically within Key Stage 2.

* Demonstrated understanding of special educational needs, with adaptability in implementing effective teaching approaches.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration with teaching staff, parents, and stakeholders.

* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the individual needs of each Key Stage 2 child.

* Desirable: Previous SATs experience, with a track record of achieving commendable results.
