An exceptional opportunity has emerged at a nurturing school in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, for a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) specializing in supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health wellbeing needs across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Position Overview: As a full-time SEN TA, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students with social, emotional, and mental health wellbeing needs. Collaborating closely with classroom educators, the SEN TA will lead the implementation of engaging and immersive lessons while tailoring plans to meet the diverse needs of students across both key stages. Patience, empathy, and dedication are essential qualities required to provide the necessary support to keep students focused, assist with emotional regulation, and foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate seamlessly with classroom educators to deliver targeted support for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students with social, emotional, and mental health wellbeing needs.

* Implement tailored learning plans and dynamic teaching methodologies to address the unique needs of each child.

* Cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere, prioritizing the social and emotional well-being of every student.

* Actively engage in stimulating classroom activities, ensuring the participation and enthusiasm of each child in their educational journey.

* Foster strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and fellow professionals, ensuring a holistic and cooperative approach to each child's development.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

* Demonstrated understanding of social, emotional, and mental health wellbeing needs, with flexibility in implementing effective support strategies.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering seamless collaboration with teaching staff, parents, and stakeholders.

* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the individual needs of each child, especially those facing mental health challenges.
