Info about what the role entails

The successful candidate will be involved in the design of panel and field installations from concept to on-site commissioning relating to automated control systems.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

* Generating electrical control schematic diagrams

* Generating PLC wiring diagrams and I/O schedules

* Commissioning and scope of installations and preparation of supporting technical documents

Requirements of the Electrical Design Engineer

* Previous experience of electrical design, preferably within an industrial environment

* Knowledge of PLC control wiring systems, instrumentation and motor starter control types

* Experience with commissioning designs is advantageous

* Experience of AutoCAD, Amtech or similar
