Contract: Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 3:30PM - Term Time Only
Salary: M1 - M6 Teaching pay scale - Final salary based on experience
As a Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging and interactive science lessons that cover a range of topics, including biology, chemistry, and physics.
* Creating hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and activities to make scientific concepts come to life and encourage student participation.
* Differentiating instruction to accommodate the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, including those with special educational needs.
* Incorporating technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning experiences and facilitate exploration of scientific concepts.
* Promoting scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, preparing students for future academic and career opportunities in STEM fields.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* An Enhanced DBS check to ensure the safety and welfare of our students.
* Previous experience working as a Science Teacher or related field within a school setting.
* A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualification in Science or a related subject.
* Deep knowledge and expertise in scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies across biology, chemistry, and physics.
* Creativity and innovation in lesson planning and delivery, with a passion for making science engaging and relevant to students' lives.
