We are currently recruiting for Welder/Fabricators for a client in the south of Aberdeen. This will be for a permanent position with a starts as soon as possible for the right candidates.

The main duties will include but not be limited to:-

Carry out repairs to offshore CCUs and tanks

Perform preventative maintenance tasks to improve safety and aesthetics of CCU

Document trip inspection (includes electronically)

Carry out visual inspection on all CCUs (including inspection of lifting gear)

Non fleet and third-party repairs or fabrication

Perform cutting and heating tasks by use of oxygen and acetylene

Experience skills:-

Working knowledge and prior experience of M.I.G and Flux Core welding processes and techniques in multiple positions

Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Ability to work to a high standard or workmanship.

Ability to learn new skills.

Work to tight deadlines in a safe and accurate manner.

Ability to work unsupervised in diligent and safe manner.

Prior welding experience

Numeracy & literacy

Mechanical aptitude.

Forklift driving (not essential)

Ability to perform fabrication work to offshore standard DNV 2.7-1

40 hour week with overtime as and when required.
